Most people, when wanting to be taken serious, use their
real names.
Do you, yourself truly believe that the profit motive attached
to being a "dealer" would so taint your presence on this board
that you need to hide your true identity? Apparently you do.
That being the case, perhaps you are correct and this board
should not trust you for that reason.

That point aside; the pre-sale photographs of this flag clearly
show a heading bearing TWO BRASS GROMMETS. The Auction House catalogue plainly states that they are there. It does not mention
"tack holes".

The Chrysler Museum (Norfolk) acquired this flag circa 1941. Their
records indicate "history unknown".
Would you mind sharing any new information you have found that leads you to conclude that this flag was carried by a land unit or any other entity.

To conclude this rather distasteful discourse (as all my discussions) with you. I will state plainly that I would much rather speak with a genuine PHILIP BARON ENNIS than all the other
alias you choose to use.
