Regarding the status of the flag I discovered, 32nd & 45th Miss. (Consolidated), it is currently in the hands of a private collector. In the event - FOR ANY REASON - it should become available I have someone who will buy it and I can be assured it will be put on public display in a museum. This flag was never intended to be held privately and not shared with the public!
I would hope out of respect for my contribution of almost 9 years of research and documentation that the current owner would contact me before anyone else if he decides to do something different with regards to this flag.
