There is a deference between a States militia flag and a political State flag. The Georgia military used a State flag dating from the Rev. War, Arms of the State with the field the color of their uniforms facing, which at the time of the Rev. War was blue. Sorry to say none survive but General Washington’s General Orders do but like any of the militia at the time, they made do with what they had.
Happy Trails!
