For any that are interested in this flag, a very good article about it was just released in the Summer 2011 edition of The Museum of the Confederacy Magazine. There are several very good notes track the flag from creation to restoration, and some very detailed pictures of both the obverse and the reverse of the flag. If you have a chance to view this article you will find it interesting.
