I have the 54th Virginia Infantry Regiment, of Colonel Trigg's Brigade capturing both of the 22nd Michigan's flags and the regimental flag of the 89th Ohio. The 89th Ohio's National flag was put in a wagon and MG. Wheeler's cavalry captured that flag. The 7th Florida Infantry captured the 21st Ohio's regimental flag.

This was all on day two, at Chickamauga. Many of those Union regiments had never saw any action.
