Ebay is full of sucker flags with fake histories just waiting for dreamers of the big find, and they appear to be making money at it or they wouldn’t keep making them.

Both flags are post war, the sewing is just one item that gives them away. The 3rd National may have been patterned after a western Army pattern 2nd National but that is anyones guess. The battle flag is someones dream, pattern after an early Northern Virginia pattern, may have been made for a SCV camp, or other group. Both look like the work of Dettra flag, if you want a value, depending on their size, about $300.00 + to be custom made.
