The information I have on the Battle of Jerusalem Plank Road (June 22nd, 1864) is this.

Major-General Mahone reported, "About 1,600 prisoners, four pieces of artillery and eight stand of colors." Major-General Wilcox's division certainly did not captured any flags.

Major-General Birney's division was hit first and thus the majority of flags captured was from his command.

1) The 15th Massachusetts was a very tiny regiment (Around 100 Men) by that point in the war. They lost one or both of their flags, "The tattered shot-ridden flag was sized by hostile hands."

2) The 19th Massachusetts was also a tiny regiment and they lost both colors. Color-Sergeant Mike Scannell (British) was carrying the regimental flag. He gave up the flag.

3) 7th New Jersey lost their "National Flag".

4) 42nd New York lost a "Beautiful stand of colors".

5) 106th Pennsylvania is very difficult, I have some reports that they lost both flags, some reports it was only one flag and other sources claim they did not lose any flags.

6) 82nd New York, lost a guidon (The New York flag website believes either First Bull or Jerusalem Plank Road, I believe the latter.)

7) This may or may not be correct, but I have a report the 2nd Pennsylvania Heavy Artillery lost both colors and one was later recaptured. (I tend to believe the flags were captured during General Grant's first offensive, June 16th-17th-18th, 1864) (East Petersburg).

I suspect the 82nd New York might have lost another color, (Seven officers and 109 Enlisted captured) the 59th New York, 1st Minnesota Battalion (2 Companies), Captain McKnight's 12th New York battery (Lost Four pieces) might have lost a battery guidon. I am sure their are a few more regiments suspect as well. But this is what I have so far on my (Excel worksheet). I have to wait till I retire and finally I will be full-time :D

The Richmond Dispatch and many other old period newspapers are a huge help.

Outstanding find!! Thank you for the hard work!!!

Have a good afternoon,
