Nice Richmond depot flag up for auction. It is 90" on the hoist and 144" on the fly. Mrs. Thomsen notes that "it was possibly used in an engagement.", but with all do respect that would be a bit too large for battlefield useage. While it does have what looks like small burn holes I wonder if it was a garrison flag or government building flag that flew during a fire? (Richmond maybe?) There does not seem to be any provenance was given so I am just guessing.
