Hello All; I have just read a work on, Granbury's Texas Brigade by John R. Lundberg (Louisiana State University Press 2012) Lundburg mentions the flag used on the casket,when Granbury's remains were moved to Texas. The flag; namely a First National Flag, with the battle honors Chickamauga,Ringold Gap, Missionary Ridge, Dug gap, Resaca and on the other side New Hope Church,Kennesaw Mountain, Peach Tree Creek, Atlanta and Franklin. Has this flag survived and if so is it in a public collection. Most importantly is there a photograph image or Jpeg of the flag.
