I'd like forum opinions on this flag. The description and provenance suggest a Charleston origin. In Madaus' note on the Flags of the Confederacy website, "no 2nd National field flags are known to have been made in Charleston."

The flag appears to be a depot flag, similar to larger Charleston flags. One thing that struck me was the similarity to Hoke's Headquarter's flag (shown on the FC website), NC museum, in that even though small, the body of each flag has a small pieced section beside the canton.
