27th Tenn Inf. flag

While searching some other documents at a local historical society, found this battle report that I think might be unpublished. [Excerpt] "The long list of killed and wounded speaks more frightful than aught. I can say that the gallant part taken by the men under my command in that engagement we had out of 210 men carried into action 16 killed dead on the field, and ?4 wounded and 12 missing.Several of whom are supposed dead or wounded. We had two color bearers killed and a third mortally wounded, but held on to the colors until told it would fall into the hands of the enemy when he agreed to give it up, the flag staff was shot off near the flag, still another one of the color guard was wounded"
Signed W. Frierson Lt Col.

I think the battle was Richmond. Ky. Im not sure though. Does anybody know if this flag still exists?
