101st Indiana Inf. Battle Honor

The regimental colors of the 101st Indiana Infantry has a battle honor of "Howeis Gap", at least that is how I see it. They participated in the Battle of Hoover's Gap. I'm I seeing this wrong or can someone explain what I'm seeing? I have no idea what "Milt*" might be, and the last one is most likely Missionary Ridge.
