Just began doing research on this, due to the fact that my camp will be holding a headstone dedication for Micajah Hulsey of the 4th/12th Ga Cav. I promised the decendant, Mrs Susan Hulsey Forrester, that I would research what flag was used by her ancestor's unit. Any further details would be much appreciated.

Haralson County Invincibles Camp 673 will be hosting a Headstone Dedication service for Micajah Hulsey with the gracious assistance of the William Hardee Camp 1397 in Dallas, of the 4th Georgia Cavalry/12th Georgia Cavalry at the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery on Hulsey Town Road in Paulding County on June 22nd, 2013 at 10am. The decendant is Mrs Susan Forrester, her husband is Mr Nathan Forrester, both residents of Haralson County. This is the link to the Church:

We the Gen William J. Hardee Camp have been ask to help the Haralson County Camp in a grave marker service for Micajah Hulsey (10-12-1837 - 7-27-1919) who served in Company L, 4th Ga. Cavalry from Paulding County and is buried in Mt. View Church Cemetery located on Hulsey Town Road,(near Yorkville) in Paulding County. Shelia Hulsey Forrister is the 2nd Great Granddaughter of Micajah Hulsey, Susan and her husband live in Haralson County. If you dress out we need you for this service, the Haralson Camp has a cannon but we need the support of our membership to make this a success.
