Thanks for this information. I was aware that the 3rd Louisiana had received a Van Dorn flag but I did not know it had both the unit designation and battle honours.

Sorry for not replying earlier. We went away for New Years and did not return as soon as expected. The temps here in Manitoba were literally colder then Mars on the 31st. Our high was -30C whereas Curiosity reported the high on Mars was a balmy -25C. On the night of New Year's Eve it went down to -37C. We stayed away an extra day.
