The lettering of the battle honors is identical on the 5th and 6ths flags. Go to KHS site and use zoomfly youll see the same. These flags were obviously produced and lettered at a similar time or pretty close to it. Great flag, thanks for sharing with the board. I think its great that the guy had it thumb tacked to his wall back in the 50s, but thats how things were treated back then. He probably paid 50 bucks for it. Thank god it survived in such great condition. Im assuming it went North with a soldier after the war. Did anybody know this flag even existed?
