Donelson February 16, 1862, sent to Vicksburg, Miss. for exchange from Camp Douglas, Ill. September 2, appointed Color Sergeant October 17, 1862, appointed Ensign April 18, 1864,** paroled May 17, 1865 at Columbus, Miss., resident of Monroe County, Miss.

* This company subsequently was designated as Company I, 14th Regiment Mississippi Infantry
