Army of Central KY battleflag?

Fellow Flag-Nuts:

This past weekend, at a living history where I had an 18-battleflag display set up, I ran into a wonderful gentleman who informed me that I needed an Army of Central KY battleflag to go with my McCown flag (Army of East TN) and my 39th NC Infantry flag (with the four red triangles in the corners).

I told him I had never heard of such an animal, and he directed me to the ever questionably-reliable Wikipedia, where I discovered a McCown-esque flag with 13 gold/yellow, 5-pointed stars.

[See "Army of Central Kentucky" at Wikipedia to see a graphic of the supposed flag.]

I could not tell from the image whether the flag itself and its blue components were also outlined in gold/yellow, as well as having possibly an additional black outline around the whole shebang.

Is this flag for real or is it someone's fiction?

If real, is it perhaps an actual unit's flag, rather than the flag of the referenced Army of Central KY?

If real, does anyone know of any actual images and/or specs for this rascal?

Many thanks for any additional info, even if it quashes my dreams of such a flag existing and being authentic to the war! -- Jim Huffman, Co-Historian, 43rd MS Infantry
