Hello everyone, I have a question on this flag. I believe it was captured at Antietam. Maybe the First Texas Infantry??

Interesting, the flag had a battle honor of "Ethan's Landing". The Texas brigade and Hampton's brigade were only at that small battle. After Colonel Wade Hampton switched service in the cavalry, his infantry brigade was split up.

I am looking for any War Department numbers and will type on here what I find. I wish they would have organized them by the way they were captured and turned in.
