At Murfreesboro Adjutant F. T. Smith of the 9th Confederate Inf.'was cited for bravery in both Generals
Polk and Cleburne's after-action report "severely wounded while bearing the Colors of his regiment"
Smith's Compiled Service Record states only that he was wounded badly and believed captured.
There is no further record for the man. My question.....killed or captured??
Anyone know of this man?
