Very nice flag. There might be one more Bowser painted flag out there as well. Sme of the information put out about USCT flags in general has not been 100 per cent correct. One of the wrong statements was there were none made by Union depots which is not correct at all. Bowser did special presentation colors but a lot of the USCT regiments also received depot contracted flags including the 127th USCT whose depot contract regimental flag used to be at West Point until it, along with a lot of other flags, was destroyed in 1942. These had fallen into a sad state (torn and rotted states the card for the 127th USCT) and were thus disposed of.
