I agree that your flag is "The most common and widely displayed Confederate flag humanly possible." However your earlier description left out the word "Confederate." It appears that we assumed that "old flag" referred to the Flag of the United States and you assumed we knew it was the CSA. Glad the details came out. As Dave said, a machine sewn Southern Cross flag could have been made any time over a 100 year span or more. Are there any makers names / labels / stamps on the heading? Can you post a pic and some close ups?
