To be perfectly, I am beginning to question what you have read about Franklin, or how carefully. As Greg stated there is not a single book about Franklin which says the attack began at 3 p.m. Not by McDonough, Cox, Sword, or myself. And no serious author has ever stated, in such simplistic terms, that the main assault was over in 50 minutes.

I'll give you some advice; whether you take it or not is up to you. Your posts about Franklin do not reflect well on you at all. I am not a Gettysburg or Antietam expert and I guarantee I would not engage someone who is. That said, perhaps you might want to stick with Eastern Theater subjects. Remember, it was you who said you said don't really care about Franklin anyway.
