Some of these pictures are in the Time-Life book "Arms and Equipment of the Confederacy."

The flags Shawn mentioned are the 1864 Augusta Depot battle flags of the Southern Cross/rectangular pattern.

The Hardee flags for the brigade were issued after Murfreesboro sometime in 1863 if I correctly recall. The battle honors on flags can help us date their issue.

Ken Legendre is THE expert on Louisiana flags and I am sure he will respond to this.
