Does anyone know if the 63rd Virginia ever had a Hardee pattern battle flag? I have see a reference to the 58th N.C. having a Hardee flag, which they got around the time of Chickamauga and the 63rd Virginia joined the Army of Tennessee at the same time as the 58th. I know the 63rd was in eastern Virginia before they joined the AOT, and may have had an ANV pattern flag upon leaving Virginia. I have seen a photo of the 63rd's later pattern flag, which was the rectangular shaped ANV pattern but was wondering they ever had a Hardee flag.
