Contact Tom Belton of the North Carolina Museum of History (he is a friend) and tell him that you would like to have them look at it and tell him why.

If they cannot do it for reasons that might get the museum into problems with Ebay, then send it to Shannon Pritchard in VA who owns Old South Antiques (www.oldsouthantiques.com) as he also knows whatr eal CW flags look like. Will Gorges at New Bern, NC has a relics shop that has sold real CS flags over the yars and maybe he can help too.

Then I would sue Ebay big time!!!! This is fraud and they are perpetuating it big time by doing nothing to stop these flags from being sold.

I would also call your local FBI office and bring them up to speed with this. Since Ebay sells via interstate commerce this falls undedr their pervue.
