I did'nt even know what was going on. I do know one thing, we are a very small group of people interested in Civil War Flags. Without this group of good people many books would never have been written. This is my favorite sight on Civil War flags. Before ever getting on here, I had no clue on the scale of other Civil War people interested in captured battle flags. For years I just read or scanned through a magazine or a book and jotted down what regiment lost their flag and who took it. Then I started putting all of those little notes together and double checked if that was the truth. Soon I had half a notebook full of captured flags. I then sorted it out by the battle. I then had wished to find a site like this and to compare notes.

Hopefully one day, we can get it all together.
