Both of the existing flags for the 3rd Alabama Cavalry are inspired by Augusta Depot flags (one pre-dates them) but they are homemade banners issued to the regiment.

One of these is at the Chicago Historical Society while the other used to be at the Lotz House in Franklin, TN.

Regarding the 51st Alabama Cavalry, Lee is corrrect based on what we know of Wheeler's flags.
