You would be quite correct. In checking the Order of Battle fo Gettysburg, the 6th LA was in Early's Division which did not have divisional issue battle flags with pre-painted honors on them. The other brigade, Nicholls', was in Johnson's Division, but did not get their divisional issued flags until late August, 1863, and the last honor on those flags will be for "Gettysburg."
