Hello Shiela: An authentic 30-star flag ca 1850 would be worth abuout as much as a 33, 34, or 35 star flag from the Civil War era, namely $1000 to $3500 depending on size, material, condition, star pattern among other things. Although 30 star flags a far rarer than their cousins from the 1860's, Civil War era *anthing* is worth a whole lot more than the same items from the decades immdiately before or after.
