While both of Whiting's brigades were at Eltham's Landing, Hood's brigade did most of the fighting. I don't believe Law's (Whiting's) brigade was much involved although at least one member of the 4th AL was documented as being wounded at Eltham's Landing. Law's Brigade consisted of the 4th Ala, 2nd & 11th Miss and 6th NC. The 11th Miss flag captured at Gettysburg does not have Eltham's Landing as a battle honor.
