Capt. Oliver Evans Mercer--farmer, born Jan. 24, 1842, born and resided in Smithville District, Brunswick Co., 21 years old, in 1860 reported living in household of A. Jane and H.H. Mercer; enlisted in Brunswick Co., elected 2nd Lt. on May 25, 1861, elected 1st Lt. on Feb. 28, 1863, promoted to Captain on May 10, 1863; killed at Gettysburg on July 1.

2nd Lt. Thomas C. Fullwood--farmer, about 21 years old, born in Brunswick Co., resided in Smithville, Brunswick Co., in 1860 reported living in household of Martha E. Fullwood ; enlisted in Brunswick Co. on May 25, 1861, mustered in as pvt., promoted to sgt. on July 10, 1861, elected 2nd Lt. on Feb. 18, 1862; killed at Gettysburg on July 1.

1st Lt. Seth Robbins was absent sick. The position of 3rd Lt. remained vacant following earlier promotions and resignations.
