Three of my great-grandfathers, E.G.Jeffords, R.H.Hatchell, and J.H.Farmer are listed in a roster dated May, 1861 for Culpeper's Battery. My primary interest is in tracing them for family tree data. A review of this website has been educational to say the least, but I'm not an expert in this area. My hope is that someone can direct me to other information regarding my ancestors...prisoner lists, rosters, etc.

An amateur's opinion on the flag discussion says that the flag in Iowa is too large and too pristine to have been dragged from Morris Island to Fort Blakely over a period of four years.
