Does anyone know how the white edging on Mobile depot flags were sewn on, as well as the flag pole sleeve? I noticed on the 40th Ala Inf Mobile Dept Flag that the edge was folded over to form a sleeve, but the white edging is the same direction. How did they do this? I did some close viewing of this flag in a book and the bottom white trim on the fold is OVER the fold, while the top is not. The 36th Ala Inf flag, this sewing is much more evident. Thanks for looking!
