Excellent work Mr.Nelson! I had alot of family in the Civil War and one named Calvin R. Prouty was in the 2nd California Cavlry (Company H and G), and was in the 6th and 8th California infantry. He was in "H company" 8th California Infantry and at one time stationed at Alcatraz Island lol.
