According to the Cody, Wyoming Newspaper, Howard Madaus' full obituary will appear tomorrow, Wednesday, July 25th. I will provide a link on the message board and through the ad box at the upper-right corner of the page for all the message boards.

Mr. Madaus' loss is truly a sad day for Civil War Vexillology, as well as, the Civil War study community, generally. He will certainly be missed.
