Hello, I just aquired a 47th Regiman confederate flag from NC. It reads: 47th REGt,N.C.V. It has one star and has written: May 20, 1861 and under it May 20th 1775. It there any history or website I could find out more information on this large flag? I have no idea the history nor the worth of something so beautiful.
I would appreciate any information you could give me.
