I agree with you that many flags never made it to the authorities or the War Department. Pickett's charge is evidence on that. A Major Rice, took a captured Confederate flag back to his home.

I admire the work you all do on this. I hope you all come out with more books on captured flags in the future. If there is anyway I can help, you have my full 100% cooperation.
