Alan , Thanks for responding. Interesting, isn't it? You'd think it would be a slam dunk question. I'll see if I can get one of the Kricks to respond . Also, I remember a painting by Ron Lesser (sp?) that shows Jackson right before the flank attack takes off and I believe he has a rider alongside Gen. Jackson with a flag. I'll try to see if he has a reference to the flag or if he made an assumption. Anyway, If I find out, I'll notify this board.
