On page 255, the 5th New Hampshire's last battle was at Farmville, Virginia on 7 April, 1865. Captain John Ricker, led 6 companies on attack on "several hundred" Confederate entrenched. Captain Ricker was wounded several times, 70 of his men along Captain Ricker were captured, with a flag of the 5th New Hampshire. It did not mentioned what flag was captured. Two days later the 5th New Hampshire got their prisoners back and their flag, just hours before Lee had surrendered at Appomattox.

I hope this fills a void in someone's "Farmville" Union flag captured.
