There are several Confederate Flags in the collection here. Most of the ones that the state had were returned to the respective states in 1905. A close friend of mine who used to be the Adjudant General of the Illinois Guard gave one of their flags back with the understanding that they would have an exact replica made of it and given to the State of Illinois with the understanding that even tho they had the origional flag in their possesion, the owner of the flag would still be the State of Illinois. They agreed to this arangment. In any case they have the flag. So everyone wins.
