Re: A question to Gregg about Porcher

A Saltire cross is still a cross. I guess Porcher stated it had no religious meaning to get people off his back. I guess the fundamentalists and Jews didn't care as much about a saltire cross as much as an upright St. George cross. I believe that Porcher could have picked the Saltire cross knowing it was a Scottish cross because he wanted a cross, but his first choice was shot down. He then went with another cross and put out a falsehood that it wasn't religious hoping the issue would die and the battleflag would have a cross on it. If the ACLU stated that it was wrong to have a christian symbol on state grounds, like the flag in columbia. I would state to them that it is a military symbol of the south that Jews and Christians fought under, and that it doesn't promote a one religion over another. At the same time I know that it is a southern battle cross.LOL!! Why would fundamentalists complain aboutm using a cross on a battleflag? Maybe because it would fly over acts of violence in a war? I am speculating about Porcher and that probably gets under your skin Gregg. LOL!! Thanks for the info Gregg!! Take care!!
