22nd Indiana Flag (fragments)

Over a year ago, I ordered and received color photos of two (2) U.S. National Flags and one (1) regimental flag of the 22nd Indiana Infantry from the Indiana War Memorial Commission collection of flags. I was excited when the photos arrived, but terribly disappointed when I realized the flags are mere remnants of flags. One of the National Flags has no unique markings and the second one has most of the stars missing from the blue field with only the "2nd" and "iana" appearing in gold lettering on one of the red stripes. The regimental flag is blue with an outline of the spread eagle in the center, but the eagle and most of the surrounding ribbons and emblems are missing. Here's my question. Are there earlier period drawings of these Indiana unit flags or has someone recently attempted to recreate what they must have looked like?

I would post the photos, but I'd probably need permission to do so.

Thanks,

Jim
