I guess my last message did not go through. I am thinking after reading the account at the LOC. That the 21st Ohio or some Union officer saw "Rock City Guards" on a flag. They must have been very close. The 21st Ohio was armed with colt repeaters and said they shot down many men of Patton Anderson's brigade later, Walthall's.

The OR account was very hazy and I tend to believe you all on here then a half hazy report. But what is 110% is that the 21st Ohio did lose their entire color company along with both flags at Murfressboro. This happened at Chickamauga again.
