Ms. Rard,

Are you referring to the Confederate Battle Flag that has the St. Andrew's Cross or are you referring to the First National Flag that has a blue canton and three horizontal strips, two being red and the middle bar being white? The First National Flag is properly known as the "Stars and Bars" while the Confederate Flag is incorrectly and often referred to as the "Stars and Bars."
