Whitfield's Texas Legion (aka. 27th TX Cav Rgt)

Does anyone have anything on the flags of the Whitfield Battalion, then 1st Texas Legion (27th Texas Cavalry Regiment, CSA, a 12 company regiment). Was independent until after the Battle of Corinth and then was joined with the 3rd. 6th and 9th Texas Cavalry Regiments to form the Whitfield Brigade of Van Dorn's raid on Holly Springs. Later was a part of Jackson's Division in Van Dorn's Corps. Then part of SD Lee's Corps in Mississippi. Upon the failure of Whitfield's health the brigade was given to Lawrence Sullivan Ross and the unit fought the complete Atlanta and Tennessee Campaigns. I have found almost nothing on the units flags though I can piece together their unit activity through out the war.
