My ggg grandfather served in Dolman's Company H in the 18th Missouri. It sounds very plausible that this is the flag that was taken at Shiloh, as Dolman rallied his company to make a stand in the Hornet's Nest and his company was captured. My grandfather was among that remnant.

Where did you find this information? Also, does this flag still exist? If so, can I obtain a photograph of it? It would mean a lot to see the flag around which my grandfather rallied at Shiloh.
