Re: Flag of the 8th Missouri Calvary, Confederate

Greg, They carried the Missouri Battle Flag, which was
a white Roman Cross on a deep blue field, and a deep
red trim. More than 60,000 Confrderate Missouri soldiers
served under this flag. They also carried a flag which
had the rebel stars and bars in the upper left of the flag,
which was on a white field, with no trim. These were
carried primarily in the Trans-Mississippi Threatre, but
have never found a flag for the 8th Missouri themselves.
