Hello,

While scrolling the Nashville Dispatch newspeper yesterday I cam across an article that I have seen before about the four Union flags displayed after their capture at Chickasaw Bayou in December, 1863 when Sherman's attack north of Vicksburg was stopped. The Union lost five flags that day but only four went on display.

These flags were:

29th Missouri
58th Ohio
13th Illinois
31st Missouri
