Folks,

The NC general is Rufus Barringer. His HQ flag, WD 320, is at the North carolina Museum of History in Raleigh. I do not have my listing of where WD 320 was taken (it is in my office at the TN State Museum) so I am not sure if this is where the flag was taken. Barringer was a cavalry officer in the ANV and covered the retreat from Richmond as well as fought in other places.
