In the Oresentation of Flags of NY Regiments, July 4, 1865 to the Govenorit is noted that Gen. James C. Rogers(Brvt) of the 123d presented three flags.

One a National Garrason Flag, no concern here.

Their original National colors presented by the Ladies of Washington County upon departure in September 1862 and used till February, 1865

A national Flag,silk.

I am assuming that this is the replacement for the original one retired in Feb. '65

This would indicate that they may not have lost a flag
